KAYLA'S DANCE RECITAL

KAYLA'S DANCE RECITAL
What a wonderful experience! Not only did I get to see an entertaining program, but I was able to see my grand-daughter perform four times. It was at the Rialto Theater, one of the largest in town. She was to graceful and pretty, I could have burst. Her Mom and Dad have been so supportive and encouraging and it makes such a difference in her confindence. She will definately be our little Star.

Sarah is the little blonde, giggling as usual making future plans, which means the day after graduation!

Logan, who is a dear friend of Sarah's came down from Memphis to help her celebrate her day. He was so sweet and I've never been called Maam so much, but with a southern accent it sounds so sweet.

This is the whole family right before the ceremony, note we are still smiling. There were over 500 grads, and at least 5,000 people who attended. The ceremony itself was beautiful, but like I said the heat was like sitting in the middle of the desert. She will be entering the Air Force in August and she carries my heart with her.

WHEW!!! FINISHED

WHEW!!! FINISHED
This took me quit awhile, but I'm pleased with the results. But believe me I can understand why the price of carousels are so high. They are quite a challenge!

"WHEN PIGS FLY"

"WHEN PIGS FLY"
As of today they do, what fun this was to design, I laughed everytime I started working on this. I'll never say that phrase again without thinking of this guy.

I can always tell when Spring has sprung, my husband drags out our golf clubs and starts polishing them. I don't know why, mine always looks like I've been using them as a spade. The phone starts ringing and all his Frat Brothers start calling to making arrangement for their annual get together. This year we're playing in Georgia. It's great fun for us, but you should see the faces on the guys at the club house when eight seventy year olds head in to play 18 holes. They usually allert the nearest EMT's just in case. We've played all over these United States and they've been doing this for fourty years. May the golf gods be with us!

MINATURE DOLL & BEAR SWAP

MINATURE DOLL & BEAR SWAP
This is Merry-Pippin, he is on his way to Debb to live on a farm. I'm sure he will be very happy there and I know Debb will take good care of him.

YOU CAN'T SEE HIM TOO WELL, BUT THIS IS WHERE "MERRY-PIPPIN" LIVES.

Well, this has been quite a month. Lots of things to do and even if you have daylight savings, sometimes the day wizz by. We have finally releaved ourselves of the moles and have been busy cutting this huge area of grass, planting and yes even weeding already. But I did have time to finish my carousel. It's a project that has been in the back of my mind for awhile, then I bumped my head, and it moved right to the front. We are preparing to leave for Georgia soon, for my grand-daughter's high school graduation. And yes, it does take a lot of prep. Between making sure you have everything, there is Emily to tend to since we can't take her with. I don't understand how hotels with take children, and not pets, they both can be a little messy, so what's the deal. But anyway, Emily will stay home with the care of some wonderful neighbors. Well, I hope you enjoy my carousel, and really enjoyed the challenge of making it.
